    Usage:

    Ovolecithin is produced from egg yolk and contain Phosphatidyl Choline72.0%-85.0%, Phosphatidyl Ethanolamine 5.0%-15.0%, N 1.75%-1.95% P3.5-4.1%.

    Phosphatidyl choline occurs in all cellularorganisms, being one of the important components of the phospholipid portion of the cell membrane. Eggyolk lecithin is usually extracted chemically using ethanol, acetone, petroleum ether but not benzene or hexane due torestrictions on residual solvents by the pharmaceutical regulations. It is an emulsifier, especially for parenteral use since it does not need to be metabolized. In aqueous solution, its phospholipids can form either liposomes, bilayer sheets, micelles, or lamellar structures,depending on hydration and temperature. This results in a type of surfactant that is usually classified as amphipathic.


    It can be applied to

    • Parenteral nutrition: MCT/LCT FatEmulsion Injection.

    • Drug-loaded Fat Emulsion:  Propofol injection, MCT/LCT propofolinjection, Etomidate injection, Flurbiprofen Injection, etc.

    • Also apply to health food, animal medicine, etc.
